These terms apply when you use the Xora Scrap website and send us an inquiry. By using the website or submitting a form, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Our role
Xora Scrap is a lead generation and inquiry support platform. We help vehicle owners and new-vehicle buyers send inquiries and get connected with our partner Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facilities (RVSFs) registered or authorised as required in Rajasthan. We act as a support team that helps you through the inquiry.
Xora Scrap does not:
- scrap, dismantle or process vehicles itself;
- create, issue or independently provide Certificates of Deposit (CODs);
- sell vehicles or CODs;
- act as a government body or represent itself as government-approved or government-operated.
2. Our partner RVSFs
Vehicle inspection, acceptance, scrapping, documentation and COD issuance or transfer are carried out by the relevant partner RVSF or other authorised entity, under their own registration and processes and applicable law. Partner RVSFs are independent businesses. They are not owned or controlled by Xora Scrap, and Xora Scrap is not their agent unless agreed in writing.
3. What we do for you
- Receive your inquiry and the details and documents you choose to share.
- Pass your inquiry to a suitable partner RVSF or authorised service provider.
- Keep in touch with you and help you understand the next steps and the documents usually needed.
Submitting a form is an inquiry only. It does not create a contract to scrap a vehicle or to provide a COD.
4. Your responsibilities
- Give accurate and complete vehicle details and contact information, and keep them up to date.
- Upload only genuine documents that you have the right to share.
- For scrapping inquiries, confirm that you are the registered owner of the vehicle, or are authorised by the owner.
- Do not use the website for false, misleading or unlawful requests.
The partner RVSF may ask to see original documents and identity proof before going ahead.
5. Quotations, acceptance and payments
Any quotation, vehicle acceptance, payment, pickup and documentation is decided by and agreed between you and the relevant partner RVSF or authorised entity, based on the vehicle's condition, its documents, and applicable rules. Any payment for scrapping is made by the RVSF unless you are told otherwise in writing.
Values, offers and figures shown on this website are indicative only. They are not a quotation and are not binding.
6. COD, tax and other benefits
A Certificate of Deposit is issued by a Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility under applicable rules. Benefits linked to a COD, such as carmaker discounts, road-tax concessions or registration fee waivers, are set by carmakers, state governments and other authorities. They can change, have eligibility conditions, and may not apply to every vehicle, buyer or location. Any road-tax figure shown on the website is the maximum possible saving for eligible cases in Rajasthan, not a promised amount.
7. No guarantee of outcome
Xora Scrap does not guarantee that:
- a partner RVSF will accept your vehicle or inquiry;
- you will receive a particular scrap value or price;
- a COD will be issued or transferred to you;
- RTO cancellation, approvals or registration will be completed within a particular time;
- you will receive any tax benefit, discount or other benefit.
These depend on applicable law, eligibility and the relevant partner's processes.
8. Sharing your inquiry
To respond to your inquiry, we share your contact details, location, vehicle details and uploaded documents with relevant partner RVSFs and authorised service providers, as explained in our Privacy Policy. By submitting a form, you agree to this sharing and to being contacted by call, SMS or WhatsApp about your request.
9. Offers and promotions
Offers shown on the website are subject to their stated validity, eligibility and terms, and to confirmation by the relevant partner. Offers cannot be combined unless stated, and may be changed or withdrawn.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by applicable Indian law:
- the website and our support services are provided "as is", and we do not promise that the website will always be available or free from errors;
- we are not responsible for the services, decisions, payments, delays or actions of partner RVSFs, carmakers, dealers, RTOs or other third parties;
- we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or our support services.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
11. Website content
The content, design and logo on this website belong to Xora Scrap or are used with permission. Do not copy or reuse them without our written permission. Reviews and offers marked "Sample" are placeholders for layout and are not real customer reviews or live offers.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies from the date shown above.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Rajasthan.
